"I hate the messy URL's on my Joomla site. Is there anything I can do to make them more search engine friendly? What about my install of OpenWP?"

Absolutely. It takes a little patience, though.

I'm assuming you're familiar with Joomla's backend, and aren't afraid to edit some of the server's files.

These are the pared-down instructions for a CLEAN INSTALL. In other words, for a brand-new site, with NO content. This assumes that you have access to your root directory.

I wrote this primarily as reference for myself, should I need to set up another site. Your mileage may vary. USE THE SUPPORT FORUMS!
